河津七滝 その１

知っているかもしれませんが、「河津七滝」は「かわづななだる」と読むそうです。

では、マイナスイオンを浴びにスタートです。

まずは、滝の前に「ループ橋」です。

そして、七滝観光センターの奥にある駐車場に車を止め歩いていきます。

まずは、出合滝。落差2m 幅2m
説明によると「河津川本流と萩に入川とが合流している様子が人生の出合に例えられ、この名が付きました。」
「流れ込む水の青さが印象的です。」
綺麗なのですが、いいポジションに障害物があったので、あまりいい写真が取れませんでした。

蟹滝。落差2m 幅1m
説明によると「美しい渓流の中にひっそりとたたずむ切り立った岩場が甲羅のようにみえます。」
「白い流れと緑のコントラストが美しい滝です。」

次の初景滝へ行く途中には、いろいろなものがありました。

まずは、川端康成の名作 「伊豆の踊子」の踊子と学生の像です。

あっトイレの外観もキレイだったので撮ってみました。

そして、願い石。
写真映りが悪くわかりにくいかもしれませんが、岩の上に太いしめ縄を丸くしたものがおいてあり、3回小石を投げて１個でも岩の上に乗せる事が出来れば願いが叶うといわれています。
惜しくも願いを聴いてもらうことは出来ませんでした

そして、初景滝。落差10m 幅7m
説明によると
「昔、１人の行者が滝の洞に住んで修行をしていました。ある日持っていた小金に目をつけた悪人に襲われ、行者は殺され滝壷に投げ込まれてしまいました。その後悪人はそれぞれ罪がたたり、その子孫まで良いことがなかったそうです。この行者の名前が「初景」だったことから名づけられたそうです。
「「伊豆の踊子」の舞台として知られる河津町。初景滝には「踊子」と「私」のブロンズ像があり、物語のワンシーンをイメージさせてくれます。」

近くには、河津温泉郷 伊豆の踊子の顔出し看板と水汲み場もありました。
