三嶋大社 その1 [パワースポット]

静岡県三島市にある三嶋大社です。
この三嶋大社・以前に記事にした伊豆山神社・これから行きたい箱根神社の三社を詣でることを「源頼朝三社詣で」といわれており、源頼朝が必勝祈願をした場所とされています。
まずは、鳥居をくぐってスタートです。
鳥居をくぐってすぐに、安達藤九郎盛長警護の跡があります。

治永4年(1180)源頼朝が源家再興を祈願し100日間毎晩蛭島より三嶋大社に日参ずるに際し従者盛長が此の所で警護したと伝えられている
先に進んでいくと、神池が見えてきます。
神池内の岩には亀がたくさんいました。

天長4年(827)神池の水が渇れ天下大旱し神官の訴えにより朝廷は三嶋神殿に於て澪祭(雨乞)を行わしめた6月11日から15日まで大雨が降る 時の帝は当社に圭田を寄せ神官に禄金財帛を賜った(類聚国史)
元暦2年(1185)8月源頼朝は神池において放生会を行いその際糠田郷・長崎郷を三嶋の料と定めた(吾妻鏡)
神池内には厳島神社があります。
三嶋大社の狛犬はいたって普通な狛犬でした。
