修善寺 その２

独鈷の湯です。
弘法大師が、桂川で病父を洗う少年を見て心うたれ、仏具（独鈷杵）で川の岩を打ち霊湯を湧出させ、父子に温泉療法を伝授したという、修善寺温泉発祥の湯です。
現在でも足湯として使用することができます。

独鈷の湯のすぐ近くに「河原湯」という足湯があります。

橋を渡ると独鈷の湯公園があります。

独鈷の湯公園

独鈷の湯公園内には「湯掛け稚児大師」等々があります。
お子様の健全を祈ってお湯を掛けるといいそうです。

この公園のすぐ近くに「筥湯」があります。
