牛ヶ淵 [滝]

牛ヶ淵は静岡県駿東郡長泉町にある長泉町立北中学校のすぐそばにある黄瀬川に架かる橋から見ることができます。
淵だけあってゴミがたくさん澱んでいました。
ゴミがわからないように写してみました。
牛ヶ淵のすぐ近くには「長久保城」という北条氏のお城がありました。
長久保城に武田氏が攻めてきて、落城寸前にこの城の姫「荻姫」が牛車に乗って逃げたのですが、逃げ切れずにこの淵に身を投げたといういわれがあります。
