三嶋大社 その2

総門を過ぎると左には社務所が見えます。


社務所の近くには「矢田部式部盛治大人銅像」があります。

矢田部式部盛治大人銅像は・・・
「嘉永7年(1854)11月の東海大地震で倒壊した社殿を10年の歳月と16677両という巨費を投じて見事に復興し明治維新は大総督宮の先導警護及び明治天皇の御通行警護を奉仕し祇園山腹にトンネルを掘り上流から水を引いて祇園原の荒地15町歩余りを美田と化し佳民の感謝敬慕の念により昭和29年建立された」


先へ進むと「手水舎」があります。


ここの手水舎は、龍とかではなく至って普通の水口でした。


この先には神門があり、ここをくぐって本殿へ行くのですが、写真を撮り忘れてしまいました。

神殿をくぐるとすぐに「舞殿」が見えてきます。


舞殿の左には「生玉水」という湧水の隠れスポットがあったようなのですがこちらも取り忘れ

その生玉水があったであろう付近には西五社があります。

西五社には「大楠社」「天神社」「聖神社」「第三社」「幸神社」の5つの境内社があります。

ここでまたまた
西五社があればもちろん東五社があるのですがこちらも取り忘れ

たくさん見忘れているのでもう一度、三嶋大社を満喫してこようと思います。

さて、西五社のすぐ横には「見目神社」です。

「若宮神社と同じく御本社と最も関係の深い社で摂社と言う。
御祭神は三嶋大神の后神六柱を祀る
昔は御本社大祭の前々日幕府より奉献の玉簾を在庁(将軍の代理)が奉持し此の社前で検分の上神主に渡す儀式が行われた。
慶応4年9月3日再建」

そして、本殿の左側には「若宮神社」です。

「古くは八幡宮・若宮八幡宮又は若宮社等と呼ばれた御祭神は物忌奈乃命(三嶋大神の御子神)・誉田別命(応神天皇)・神功皇后・妃大神を祀る社である。
例祭は8月15日で御本社大祭の前日に行われる。
慶応4年8月20日再建」
