銚子ヶ渕 [滝]

頼光対面の滝から数分先へ進むと「銚子ヶ渕」がみえてきます。
説明によると、
「昔花嫁が厳粛な祝言の最中に「おなら」をして大笑になった。年若い初な嫁はこれを深く恥じて席にいたたまれず抜け出し銚子を抱いてこの渕に身を投げてしまった。
その後、女の履いた草履が時々水の面に浮かぶので村人達は恐れ、地蔵像を安置してねんごろに弔ったので、再び浮んでこなかったと云う。
この悲しい物語りを忘れるため里人はこの池を縁結び「銚子ヶ渕」と名付け伝えたので、良縁を望む多くの男女が池に願をかけ成就したと伝えられている。」とされています。
なぜ、身を投げてしまった地が縁結びの地になるのか・・・ よくわかりません。
この場所付近だけやけに多い雪が残っていました。
銚子ヶ渕にかかる枯木が何の木かわかりませんが、花が咲くと綺麗な写真になりそうです。
不思議ないわれですね。

「出物腫れ物、ところ構わず（嫌わず）」とは言いますが、当時の若い娘にとってはこの上なく恥ずかしいことだったのでしょうね。一生“屁こき嫁”と言われてしまうのですから・・・!!
でも一番ビビッたのは、それを笑った村人だったのではないかと思います。祝言の席ですから、知らぬ振りをしてあげれば良かったのにネ＾＾
